And then there's Archive.

Growing up, my family had shelves of VHS tapes, old camcorders and Handycams, disposable cameras, point-and-shoots, photo albums, and boxes of printed photographs.

I loved going through all of it.

There was something about hearing someone's voice on an old recording or finding a photograph that brought an entire afternoon back to me. The image was only part of it. It was the feeling that came rushing back. That's what I want to give my clients.

I'm a Hawaii wedding content creator and photographer, but more than anything, I want to preserve the little pieces of life you don't want to lose. The people you love, the in-between moments, and the things happening just outside the frame.

Because that's how I use my own archives.
I go back.

And for a moment, I'm there again.

There are a few things from my childhood that I can still picture so clearly.

My family singing You Are My Sunshine together. Sometimes because we were happy, sometimes because we needed a little light during a harder season. It became one of those little family traditions that stayed with me long after I grew up.

Then I had my own little sunshine.

My son is my whole world, and watching him grow has made me even more aware of how quickly life moves. The tiny things I want to remember forever are often the things that become harder to hold onto.

That's where SOL. came from.

Sol means sun in Spanish. It's a nod to the song I grew up with, to my son, and to the people who have always been the light in my life. It's also a little play on soul, because this work is deeply personal to me.
